How does it work and what does it do?
A seismograph is a device that scientists use to measure earthquakes. The goal of a seismograph is to accurately record the motion of the
ground during a quake. A seismograph can record a earthquake by when the ground shakes, a suspended weight on the seismograph moves in a up and down motion transmitting to a piece of paper, which has the earthquake.
